S.T.E.M. Club
The STEM Education Club aims to cultivate a community of students who value and understand the importance of interdisciplinary learning within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects. The club provides valuable opportunities for Saint Vincent students within and outside of the Education Department in which members gain experience in properly blending these disciplines to educate students. Most of these experiences occur within the MakerSpace Lab that is located on the bottom floor of the Latimer Library and involve the use of a 3-D printer, hand tools, a laser cutter/engraver, a vinyl cutter, and more! These events include but are not limited to MakerSpace tool training events, water bottle engraving nights, 3-D pot planting, providing STEM experiences for local schools, and more.
