Biography: Dr. Beining is currently an Assistant Professor of Early Learning at Saint Vincent College were she teaches courses on program design and development for early learning programs, designing and delivering instruction for the developing young learner, field experiences for early learning instruction, and early learning leadership administration. Her research interests include empathy and the role it plays in effect classroom instruction and student-teacher, student-student, and teacher-teacher relationships. Dr. Beining has over 20 scholarly state and national presentations as well as a small body of published work. She is very active in state level work to further the quality of early learning sites and serves on many professional Dr. Beining coordinates many education department initiatives that provide opportunities for current SVC students as well as alumni to pursue community service for children. She along with Dr. Franicola have initiated an Education alumni group to continue to support students. Dr. Beining brings a history of Early Learning Directorship to her courses. She has worked as a site director, area director, consultant, and quality assurance resource in many early learning agencies. She has practical experience in private, profit/non profit, and federal programs.
