GRADUATE STUDENTS PLANNING ON GRADUATING
Students who anticipate graduation must submit their graduation application to the registrar. Please turn materials in on time or you will be subject to a $30 late application fee. Applications are available in the Registrar’s Office or on MySV Portal under the Registration and Records Page. Graduate Education students must also sign up for their Comp Exam via the Graduate Education Blackboard page, as well as register for GCED 800 Comprehensive Exam (there are no fee’s applied to register for this course).

PARKING
Students must get a parking pass to be able to park on campus. The parking fee for the spring term is $35 for full time students and $17.50 for part time students. All students must have parking permits, tickets will be issued to those students who do not.
Graduate & Continuing Education students are to park in the assigned student lot which is Parking Area A. Graduate & Continuing Education students are allowed to park in Parking Area E after 5pm on week nights (with the exception of special campus events). Please do not park in Area E on weekends or you will be given a ticket.
The Public Safety Office is located on the ground floor of Alfred Hall and they are open from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.
If you have difficulty getting to the Public Safety office during their office hours, you can complete the vehicle registration form and take it to the booth with your check for parking. The attendant will have it processed and you can pick it up the next day at the booth when you arrive. You can print a vehicle registration form from the Public Safety page on the portal.
SVC PORTAL
The SVC Portal is now completely active! Students should log in to the portal to access their schedule, grades, register for classes, and access their SVC email. Log into the portal at mysv.stvincent.edu.
Log In Example:
Username: stvincent\firstname.lastname
PW: (same as your email password, password is case sensitive)
If your password has expired, please contact the Service desk at 724-805-2297 to reset your password over the phone.
SVC EMAIL
Please remember to check your SVC email regularly throughout the semester. Most offices at Saint Vincent will use your SVC email to provide you with important information. Students are responsible for all information delivered via their SVC email, therefore you should check your email frequently. If you have any issues with your SVC email you can contact the help desk at 724-805-2297. If you cannot remember your email password, please contact the Service Desk at 724-805-2297 to reset your password over the phone.
WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
If withdrawal from a course is necessary, reimbursement will be granted on the following schedule:
Full Semester Courses: 100% refund prior to the beginning of the term
95% refund within the first 15 days of the term
40% refund between days 16-30 of the term
No refund beginning the 31st day of the term
Half Semester Courses: 100% refund prior to the beginning of the course
95% refund within the first 7 days of the course
40% refund between days 8-14 of the course
No refund beginning the 15th day of the course
BOOKSTORE
The Bookstore, located in Carey Center, First Floor, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with expanded hours until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during the first week of classes only. The Bookstore is also open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays of Home Football Games. Credit/Debit cards (except American Express) and personal checks are accepted. If a book must be returned, the return policy of the Bookstore printed in the Student Handbook and also available in the Bookstore, must be followed.

The small dining room next to the Faculty Dining Room has been converted to a lounge for commuting students which includes all graduate students! The lounge will offer you a place to relax before or after class. There is also wireless internet and computers in there! Please take advantage of this space!
