KDP Induction Ceremony: 44 New members inducted
The Induction Ceremony, to induct new members into Kappa Delta Pi, was held Sunday, March 13, 2016, at 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Fred Roger's Center. Forty-four new members were inducted into KDP. Dr. McNelly provided the welcome, Father Jean-Luc opened with a prayer, and our KDP officers conducted the ceremony. Dr. Piriano, Superintendent of the Franklin Regional School District, was the Keynote speaker for the event. He spoke about some of the best teachers he knew: "When you look back at history, there are a certain few individuals who earn the esteem of various educational experts and a special place in history...However, I would vehemently make the claim that individually or collectively this esteemed group pales in comparison to Jesus Christ." He left our members with his eight Beatitudes for a happy and successful career in education. |
