Teach the Future 2021 

Over 130 high school students and their chaperones from 15 different school districts, as well as over 50 of our undergraduate and graduate education students, gathered for a day all about the wonderful field of education. Our keynote, speaker, the PA Teacher of the Year 2020-21, Mr. Joe Welch, delivered an engaging talk about the importance of building relationships with your students and recognizing and celebrating the individuality of all students. Our graduate fellows and some of our current education students led interactive breakout sessions about teaching and learning and SVC. The day was really a celebration of teaching, highlighting all the wonderful things our education department has to offer current and future students.
